Service Projects

At St. Luke’s School we want our students and staff to be the hands and feet of Christ in this world.  Each year we develop a theme and work to use our lives in service to others.

In the 2023-2024 school year we adopted the Corporal Works of Mercy.

  • Feed the hungry:  We collected 1000 items of food for the food pantry.
  • Comfort the sick:  We decorated prayer rocks to be placed in local clinics for patients.
  • Visit the imprisioned:  We prayed a novena and shared with a local detention center.
  • Shelter the homeless:  We decorated bird houses, provided nesting material and bird food.
  • Clothe the naked:  We collected clothing for a homeless shelter, focusing on three families.
  • Bury the dead:  We created prayer blankets for families of someone who has recently died.
  • Give drink to the thirsty:  We earned $1000.00 to purchase a rain barrel for a school in Uganda.
